Following the announcement of Pathfinder becoming a mobile card game, there is now a bit more news of what Pathfinder Duels entails, and also a new video showing the history of the role playing game and accolades it has received.

Based on Paizo’s Pathfinder universe, Pathfinder Duels promises to be quick and witty, giving players a CCG that goes beyond the current offerings as well as setting new expectations for gameplay.

Players will enter the world of Golarion and use their favourite Iconic Heroes to battle against the forces of Greed and Evil in a story inspired by Paizo’s Rise of the Runelords Campaign. Build a competitive deck to call your own and take part in unique simultaneous turn-style battles to determine the true Hero.

A Facebook page for the CCG has also been launched.

Pathfinder Duels will be released by 37Games later this year.
