A Dusk Form Lycanroc for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was previewed some days ago, but when it came to information on how to get the Pokémon, all we were told was that it “can not be obtained by ordinary methods.”

It has now been announced that players who purchase Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon can receive a unique Rockruff that can evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc. This special Rockruff will be distributed wirelessly via the Nintendo Network. Players can receive their Rockruff from 17 November 2017 until 10 January 2018.

Dusk Form Lycanroc is a rock-type that features characteristics of both the Midday Form and Midnight Form. Like the Midday Form, it stands on all fours and has four rocks around its neck. It shares with Midnight Form its glowing red eyes when it attacks and the mane on its head. Dusk Form Lycanroc has a tranquil demeanour, but an intense fighting spirit hidden within. As a result, it relishes combat at close quarters. It has the ability Tough Claw and can learn both Accelerock and Counter.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is released worldwide on the Nintendo 3DS on 17 November 2017.
