Headup Games and Nicalis have finally confirmed that hotly-anticipated Switch title, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+, will be released in Europe on September 7th.
The devilishly disgusting roguelike, which was originally released for PC way back in 2011, sends you on a nightmarish adventure through Isaac’s basement as he fights everything from his mum to the Devil himself. Also, there’s lots of poop.
The fiendishly difficult and near-infinitely replayable indie hit comes complete with all major updates and expansions on the Switch. Considering the pick-up-and-play nature of the game it seems a perfect fit for Nintendo’s device too.
It’ll be available in both physical and digital formats, with the boxed retail version of the game also coming with sticker sheets and a retro style manual.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ has already been available in the US for some time so it’s good to finally see a release date confirmed for Europe. Headup Games and Nicalis have also confirmed they’re working together to bring Cave Story+ on Switch to Europe too.
