Telltale announces new seasons of Batman, The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us

It seems Telltale Games has a strong lineup of titles for the year ahead as they’ve announced they’ll be releasing new seasons of BatmanThe Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us over the next twelve months.

First up in August will be Batman: The Enemy Within. Continuing on from the first season in which you lived the double life of Bruce Wayne and the Caped Crusader, The Enemy Within sees The Riddler terrorise Gotham with what will no doubt be a series of unnecessary and elaborate puzzles. The Joker is involved in events too because of course he is.

Next up, it looks like we’re about to see the conclusion of one of the developer’s longest running series in The Walking Dead: The Final Season. The one constant in this depressing tale of humanity falling apart at the seams is Clementine and she’ll once again be the focus for this (supposedly) final outing. With the perilous journey she’s been on, it seems a fitting way to lay the series to rest with one of the best characters in its four season run.

Lastly, and somewhat surprisingly, is the announcement of a second season of The Wolf Among Us. The cult favourite, based on the Fables comic book series, seemed to be all wrapped up for Telltale despite many fan’s desires to see a second season. Fortunately, it’s now in development and will be released during the second half of 2018.

All the announcements and more can be seen in the Summer Update video released by Telltale today.
