Ludicrous multiplayer dueler, Nidhogg 2, will be released for PS4 and PC on August 15th, developer Messhof has announced.

The sequel to 2014’s brilliant Nidhogg, the second game in the series of intense multiplayer duelling brings a whole new peculiar art style and an arsenal of new weapons including swords, axes, bows and more which you can use to claim your honour.

You’ll also be able to fully customise your Play-Doh-like avatar with clothing, accessories and even right through to their individual body parts. It’s more important than ever to get your look right as you’ll also be able to battle online for the first time in Nidhogg 2.

That said, the original Nidhogg thrived as a local multiplayer game, so we’d recommend getting your friends together if you can to play the sequel.
