Tokyo’s 2020 Summer Olympics are still a few years away, but Momoiro Clover Z’s latest music video for upcoming single BLAST! has the group participating in the fictional Fukaya 2020.

After a brief teaser, the full video features Kanako taking part in judo (facing off against Olympic medalist Kanae Yamabe); Shiori (Shiorin) is fencing (her opponent being Karin Miyawaki); Ayaka (Arin) is weightlifting (coached by Olympic medalist Hiromi Miyake), while Momoka and Reni play doubles table tennis. It’s no surprise that they all do well in their respective sport. Maybe the video will be enough for the group to be considered when it comes to performers for the opening ceremony at the actual Olympics.

BLAST! is available on 2 August, with two Limited Edition versions. Limited Edition Version A includes additional track Itsudatte Chousensha and a Blu-ray with the music video for BLAST! and a ‘Making Of’. Limited Edition Version B includes the track Kyoukai no Pendulum and a Blu-ray with the music video for Kyoukai no Pendulum and a ‘Making Of’.
