The Tenth Doctor and Rose are returning for a brand new series of Doctor Who adventures, Big Finish productions has announced. David Tennant and Billie Piper will reprise their roles for the new project, which will also feature Camille Coduri as Rose’s mum Jackie and Nicholas Briggs as warrior Slaan and Ice Lord Hasskor.

Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures – Volume 2 follows Tennant’s first set of tales featuring Catherine Tate’s Donna Noble in 2016. It’s the first time Piper has recorded Doctor Who audio episodes. The pair last worked together on the 50th anniversary television special The Day of the Doctor in 2013, having ended their run as Doctor and companion in 2008.

“We were thrilled by the response to the first volume,” says Big Finish producer David Richardson. “David Tennant and Catherine Tate were on fantastic form, and it’s so exciting to reunite David with Billie Piper, playing the Doctor and Rose together again after nine years! Their time in the series transformed Doctor Who into a prime-time and international hit, and we’ve worked very hard to live up to the incredible standards of Russell T Davies.”

Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures – Volume 2 contains three new stories: Attack of the Zaross; Sword of the Chevalier; and Cold Vengeance. It will be available in both a Limited Edition Deluxe box set, and as three individual releases. See Bigfinish.com for more details.
