We’ve finally made a discovery about Star Trek: Discovery – the new TV show following the voyages of Starfleet on its missions to discover new worlds and new life forms will launch on Monday 25 September.

All new episodes will then be available on Netflix weekly on Mondays. The 15-episode season will be released in two chapters. The first eight episodes will run from Monday 25 September through Monday 6 November, with the second half of the season resuming in January 2018.

It’ll be shown exclusively on Netflix in all territories, except the US and Canada (it will air on CBS All Access in the US, and in Canada on Bell Media’s Space channel and the CraveTV service).

Star Trek: Discovery will see one Starfleet officer learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself.

The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers. Creator Gene Roddenberry wouldn’t have wanted it any other way, and we’re happy to see his vision live on.
