This is straight from the pleasant surprise file. Jake Busey, son of legendary ’80s and ’90s movie bad guy Gary Busey has been quiet of late. But, now the Predator making a return under the direction of Shane Black (If you’ve never seen a Shane Black movie, watch literally any of them. But start with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.) Busey has come back too.

And he’s playing the son of his father’s character in Predator 2!

No word yet on just what Special Agent Peter Keyes’ kid is doing in The Predator but judging by Busey’s pictures he opted for science rather than law enforcement.

This has truly delighted us. Busey and his dad have always been memorable and fun performers and we’re massive fans of Predator 2 here at MCM Towers. It’s so great to see the continuity of previous movies honoured this way and with the cast Black has assembled? This should be an absolute treat.

Now, we wonder if there’s any chance of a cameo from Adrien Brody’s Predators character…
