The first fully interactive production from the Sky VR Studio will transform Sir David Attenborough into a virtual reality hologram. Hold the World will go into production later this year and will take people behind the glass at London’s Natural History Museum.

Users will get ‘hands-on’ access to rare objects, using cutting-edge technology that will allow them to hold up, peer inside, tilt and look more closely at the objects, which include fossils, bones and skulls from the museum’s world-famous collection.

The three-dimensional hologram of Sir David will also offer a unique insight on each specimen in the one-on-one interactive experience. “Hold The World represents an extraordinary new step in how people can explore and experience nature, all from the comfort of their own homes,” Attenborough said.
