Shannon Woodward’s Elsie Hughes was one of our favourite parts of Westworld. The laconic, pragmatic technician was funny and likable and, well…may not be as  as we were led to believe…
However, while we wait for Westworld Season 2, Woodward is keeping busy. She’s got a role in The Last Of Us Part II and tweeted from the set, along with creative Neil Druckmann to confirm it.

The original The Last Of Us is a modern classic. T wenty years after a virulent strain of the Cordyceps fungus turns humans into terrifying, cannibalistic monsters called Clickers, a survivor called Joel finds himself looking after a young teenager called Ellie. Ellie may be immune to the fungus, but neither are immune to the horrific demands of their world. It’s brilliant and complicated and the sequel should be just as good. With people like Woodward aboard, it’s certainly got the right kind of talent involved.

Westworld season 2 is due sometime in 2018. The Last Of Us Part II is due when it’s finished. Given how great the first parts of both were, we’re happy to wait as long as is needed
