Fear The Walking Dead’s third season just gained a villain with some real bite. Daniel Sharman, who played Isaac Lahey in Teen Wolf and Kaleb Westphall in The Originals has signed on to join the show. There isn’t much on his character yet other than a pretty clear implication that he’s going to be a villain. Here’s the description of his character, Troy, courtesy of The Wrap:
“…having a wild temperament and suspicious of outsiders, who is charismatic with a cruel streak.”
There’s a little bit to unpack there. “Suspicious of outsiders” and “charismatic” both suggest he’s a member of an established community while “cruel streak” says villain all the way. If we had to guess, and to be clear we are guessing, we’d say Troy will be butting heads with Madison’s section of the lead cast. Regardless, Sharman’s got rock solid genre credentials and the simple presence of a regular villain should give the show more of the structure it’s been lacking.
There’s no confirmed release date for season three yet but as soon as we have it,we’ll let you know.
