wearex-poster-finalX Japan, the biggest Japanese rock band in the world, are about to be immortalised on screen and you could be one of the first to see it.

We Are X, the new documentary by Stephen Kijak, is set to have its UK premiere at the 60th BFI London Film Festival this weekend. The film will give audiences the chance to see how the band first began, their ground-breaking rise to fame in the music industry, as well as the many setbacks and challenges they faced.

There will also be never-before-seen interviews with the members, including an insightful look at the circumstances surrounding the group’s disbandment from founding members Yoshiki and Toshi’s point of view.

That’s not all, Yoshiki will also be attending the festival and will be at the red carpet premiere of the film on 8 October to introduce the film at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square. Tickets for the screenings are available on the BFI website.
