12 Monkeys isn’t just a great movie, it’s a great TV show too. The show’s version of Cole is a former scavenger who, along with best friend Ramse is drawn into the world of a last ditch attempt to save the future by changing the past. This being TV, the job isn’t that simple. Flipping between a post-viral apocalypse future and the present day, Cole is constantly faced with ethical challenges and physical threats.

It’s a wonderful show and a favorite here at MCM Towers. Clearly we’re not alone because SyFy have just bought a 10 episode third season as reported by Deadline. The entire SyFy line up of original shows is fantastic right now and 12 Monkeys is arguably the best of the bunch so this is fantastic news. No return date as yet so now’s a perfect time to binge watch the first two seasons to get ready.
