Anime Limited, the distribution company behind Kill la Kill and Miss Hokusai, has announced that it will be releasing an ultimate edition of Full-Metal Alchemist.

Talking on Friday as part of the day’s panels at MCM London Comic Con, the company revealed that it will be creating a special release for the series which will be bringing the HD version to the UK for the first time.

As part of the Collector’s item, fans will get a 260-page art book which includes profiles on every character in the series as well as illustrations and artwork from the series. There will also be 14 art cards with the release, and special DVD covers featuring exclusive designs of the military and the Homonculus.

But that’s not all! As part of the preorder customers will also be given a unique Alchemy certificate from King Bradley featuring their name as well as their exclusive Alchemist name. The best part of the edition, though, is the case which everything will come in: a replica of the gate featured in the original series.

It is a spectacular release, and is a must-have purchase for any Full-Metal Alchemist fan. Orders are limited to 970 units, and from now to 5 July the product will be £124.99 before the price increases to £149.99 from 6 July to 1 October. After this date the price will be at its Standard Retail Price of £299.99.
