If you’ve already pre-ordered the PlayStation VR, you might think twice about using it after seeing the trailer for the upcoming sci-fi film The Call Up.

After a group of gamers receive a mysterious invitation to beta test a virtual reality video game, they suit up and strap themselves in to find out that they are trialling out a revolutionary new modern war game. However, things take a turn for the sinister when they come under attack from enemy combatants and they soon realise that they are playing for their very lives.

Written and directed by Charles Barker, The Call Up stars Parker Sawyers, Max Deacon, Morfydd Clark, Christopher Obi and Ali Cook. It opens in the UK on 20 May 2016 and is available on DVD and digital download on 23 May 2016.
