Winter wardrobes are coming for Sky customers…

As the inhabitants of Westeros might say: brace yourself – Game Of Thrones: The Exhibition is coming. In a worldwide exclusive, the UK will be the first to experience the latest incarnation of HBO’s celebrated exhibition over seven days in London, the first destination of its international tour.

There’ll be plenty to see from the production, including a collection of nearly 70 original artefacts from pivotal scenes throughout the fourth series and a few select pieces from the upcoming fifth season.

However, the real treat will be taking a trip to Westeros yourself. Donning an Oculus Rift headset, it will be possible to take part in a virtual experience called Ascend The Wall. This will take visitors to the top of one of the show’s most iconic set pieces, while elsewhere in the exhibition they will have the opportunity to sit on the Iron Throne and experience what it’s like to rule the Seven Kingdoms.

Before you get too excited, the ticketing system is a bit like the one that gets you into the Wonka factory in Roald Dahl’s children’s tale. If Sky provides your TV services, then you’ll have a chance to access the exhibition. Customers can book up to two free tickets from Monday 26 January, with tickets allocated on a first come, first served basis. Visit Sky.com/gameofthrones for more details and to book, as well as following Sky Atlantic’s Twitter feed (@skyatlantic) for updates on availability.

Game Of Thrones: The Exhibition will run at The O2, London from 9-12 February and 15-17 February 2015.
