The line-up for Snowbombing 2015 has expanded to include a number of new acts, including Pacific Rim star Idris Alba!

The already jam-packed line-up for Europe’s leading snow and music festival now includes Aartekt, Apexape, Artifact, Carl Craig, Andy C, Idris Elba, Waze & Odyssey, PBR Streetgang, The Cuban Brothers, Citizen, Ejeca, JG Wikes, Job Jobse, Justin Martin, Randall, Wayward, Artifact and Dense & Pika.

The new acts will join headliners including Skrillex, Fatboy Slim and Rudimental for the sixteenth edition of Europe’s largest and longest standing snow and music festival, taking place from 6-11 April 2015, in the snowy alpine town of Mayrhofen, Austria.

Actor, producer, rapper and DJ Elba is best known for his role as troubled detective Luther and Stringer Bell in The Wire, but he was spinning records long before his acting days. With a bag packed full of funk, soul and disco classics, his set is sure to get Snowbombing dancing.

Joining them will be a man widely recognised as one of the most important and forward thinking names in techno, the legendary Carl Craig. He has been moving dance floors across the world for over 20 years and will undoubtedly wow crwods with one of his unforgettable sets as he makes his Snowbombing debut.

Drum and Bass heavyweight and Snowbombing favourite Andy C also joins the line-up. Internationally renowned as one of the greatest drum and bass DJs in the world, Andy C will play a marathon six-hour set in Snowbombing’s headline venue, the Racket Club.

London house production and DJ duo Waze and Odyssey are also confirmed. Known for their chart-topping rework of R Kelly’s 1994 R&B classic Bump N’ Grind, Faze and Odyssey have notched up an impressive list of accolades in the short time they’ve been together and have excited crowds around the globe with their DJ sets.

Completing the bill is house music’s latest boy wonder Citizen, Belfast’s finest genre blender Ejeca, one half of Optimo JG Wilkes, Amsterdam’s finest Job Jobse, Dirty Bird co-founder Justin Martin, Hotlflush boys Dense and Pika, drum and bass and jungle favourite Randall, Bristol heavyweight Artifact and London-based production duo Wayward.

With mountains as a perimeter fence 2,000 metres above sea level and boasting some of the most awe inspiring festival venues in the world (including a sky-high igloo, enchanted forest clearings, cosy alpine lodges and medieval barns), Snowbombing is a festival experience like no other.

Prices start from £234 for five nights’ accommodation and festival wristband, with full details available on the Snowbombing website.
