A teaser trailer for the new Toriko film, Gekijo-ban Toriko Bishokushin no Special Menu, has been released on the title’s official website.

The Toriko TV series and original manga both follow a Gourmet Hunter (Bishokuya) named Toriko, who travels around the world to hunt down rare animals and plants to use as ingredients in the finest culinary dishes. In Gekijo-ban Toriko Bishokushin no Special Menu, Toriko is searching for Acacia the Bishokushin (Gourmet God) and the secret special menu that is hidden on a fabled island.

The Toriko franchise has already had one cinematic release with the 3D animated short Toriko 3D: Kaimaku Gourmet Adventure!!, which was shown in a double feature alongside One Piece 3D: Mugiwara Chase in 2011.
