A trailer for the live-action adaptation of Keishuu Andou’s Ultimate!! Hentai Kamen comedy manga has been released. The trailer features the film’s theme song “Emotions” by the rock band Man With a Mission. The film will open Tokyo’s Shinjuku Wald 9 theatre on 6 April, and will then be available nationwide from 13 April.

The story follows Kyosuke Shikijo, a kenpo club member who accidentally has a pair of women’s underwear land on his face while saving a girl from bullies. He realises that the underwear gives him the ability to use the entire potential of his body and he becomes the masked vigilante known as Hentai Kamen (‘Pervert Mask’). 

Yuichi Fukuda (I’ll Give It My All… Tomorrow, One-Pound Gospel) is directing and writing the film, and Ryohei Suzuki (live-action Gatchaman) is starring as Kyosuke. Actor Shun Oguri was heavily involved in the production of this film; he came up with the idea to do a live-action adaptation, he collaborated on the script with Fukuda, and recommended Suzuki for the role. Fumika Shimizu (Kamen Rider Fourze) stars alongside Suzuki as the heroine Aiko Himeno.
