Are you the ‘World’s Biggest Movie Buff’? Qster would like to be your Facebook friend…

Movie streaming service Viewster has launched a Facebook trivia app that tests film fans’ knowledge by displaying random movie clips. Qster then asks players to name the film, character or actor and the gamer with the highest score gets to wander around knowing they are the ‘World’s Biggest Movie Buff’.

Qster is inspired by retro game show Name That Tune. Forget Gone In Sixty Seconds, in Qster players have just 10 seconds to name what’s being shown on screen in the film clip. The pressure increases as gamers are asked to name increasingly obscure movies and actors.

There are points for each correct answer and the best players will find themselves on Qster’s global leader board. New levels and movies will be added each week, but you’ll need to win enough points to unlock them.

Qster is free to play in the Facebook App Centre. Mobile app versions of the quiz currently being developed.
