The first promotional video of the upcoming One Piece Film Z has been released; the film will be released in Japanese theatres on 15 December. The trailer gives a glimpse of Luffy going up against ex-Marine admiral Z and scientist Ain.

Fuji TV also announced last week that a television anime special, Luffy: The Hand Island Adventure, will air on Saturday, 15 December at 9:00 p.m. to coincide with the release of Film Z.  As with Film Z, the original manga creator Eiichiro Oda is supervising the story of the one-off special episode.
